BOARD OF ELECTRICAL EXAMINERS

The Board of Electrical Examiners license professional electricians operating in the County. The Board also issues electrical permits for construction projects. In the case of electrical permits, all work performed must be inspected upon completion by a Board recognized inspector. The Department of Public Works maintains all records for the Board.

Six members constitute the Board (County Code, secs. 138-1 through 138-11).


BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS

The Board of License Commissioners regulates the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in Wicomico County (Code 1957, Art. 2B, sec. 15-112).

In Wicomico County, the Board's three members are appointed by the Governor with Senate advice and consent to four-year terms (Code 1957, Art. 2B, secs. 15-101, 15-111).


LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD
The Liquor Control Board establishes and maintains stores known as County liquor dispensaries for the sale of sparkling or fortified wine and other alcoholic beverages in sealed packages or containers (Code 1957, Art. 2B, sec. 15-203).

Appointed by the Governor with Senate advice and consen, the Board consists of three members who serve two-year terms (Code 1957, Art. 2B, sec. 15-201).
