(business administration), 1975. Lead Revenue Specialist, Compliance Division, Comptroller of the Treasury, 1992-98 (auditor, sales & use tax division, 1975-92). Special Assistant to Director, Office of Customer Information, Maryland Transit Administration, 1998-. President, Cherry Hill Improvement Association, 1982- (founding member, 1979, member, 1979-; vice-president, 1979-82). Member, Advisory Board, South Baltimore Learning Center, 1993-; Baltimore Education and Cultural Institute, Inc., 2003-. Vice-President, Leon Day Foundation, 2006-. Member, Prince Hall Masons Enterprise Lodge no. 3, Baltimore. U.S. Presidential Award for Volunteerism, 1984. Outstanding Young Men of America Award, "Who's Who in America", 1985. Member, Beechfield United Methodist Church, Baltimore. Divorced; two children.
