Born in Linthicum, Maryland, October 9, 1958. Attended Annapolis Senior High School; Anne Arundel Community College (general studies). Served in U.S. Army, 1981-85. Professional firefighter and emergency medical technician, Anne Arundel County Fire Department,1985-. Former real estate agent. Past member, Executive Board, Local 1563, Anne Arundel County Professional Firefighters Association (legislative liaison). Member, Anne Arundel County Republican Central Committee, 1998-2002 (chair, 1999-2000). Founder, South County Republican Dinner Club. Member, Italian Businessmen's Association, Annapolis; South County Moose Lodge; Deale Elk's Lodge; Deale Elementary School P.T.A.; Southern High School P.T.A.; Alliance of the Chesapeake; National Rifle Association; Maryland Rifle and Pistol Association; Arbor Day Foundation; Citizens for a Sound Economy; Anne Arundel Affordable Housing Coalition.
